In other news, on my only day off yesterday where I had to clean my apartment, do laundry, take care of my car, take my macbook to the "genius bar" (ghey) and buy a bunch of kitchen/ pet stuff, and I watched the movie Deathrace.
It was awesome. If you like Jason Stathem without his shirt on and driving cars, then you should see that movie. I can't wait till Crank 2. That man can do no wrong.

Other movies I have watched recently while I cook dinner and clean:
Babylon A.D --Shittiest movie ever made. It didn't even meet my standards and my standards are fucking LOW. REALLY LOW. I walked out of Chronicles of Riddick saying "I want to own that on DVD."

Max Payne --this is what Mark Walburg said was his good movie coming out after The Happening. No one ran away from the wind in this, but it still failed. Those crazy demon angel things were just hallucinations. It was crappy. I don't even remember if it had a plot. Shockingly it's a videogame movie that sucked and had nothing to do with Ewe Boll.

Battlefield Earth --I will watch anything that should have been involved with MST3K. I watched this with RiffTrax but I could only get an hour into it before passing out. OMG what a fucking shitty movie. It is like gloriously bad. It was by far the best of the bad movies I watched.

That's the most fucking obnoxious thing I've ever read. Kanye rules.

Offline Until the weekend

Hey, I see by my offlines there are a bunch of giftcards and need helps. I don't think I can get to this stuff this week because of work.

I'm putting in really long days and I have a really long commute.

I will try to get to some of the stuff tonight, but after that I may be MIA until the weekend because I have about 70 bugs in Jira and we have not looked at the new site in IE6.

I hate IE6.

I'm kinda banking a lot on the fact it will be larger than $600 (yes I got it for PC and Mac.)Yuval ordered them for me yesterday and we went to pick them up at Harvard today.

Yuval said after the company meeting today that the bonus is probably going to be huge since we made loads of money last year and loads of people quit too. But he's sales now and I'm dev, so he'll get more $$ than me. Rightfully so though cause he's a genius and I'm like "duuurr, how does the .data() work in jQuery? ... *drool head-desk*" ((Paul explained it, but if I had to explain it to you right now I'd just stare like this O_O until you felt uncomfortable and went away.))

So now I have my uber super awesome legit copies of photoshop.
Downside: Working all weekend! D: Working a half day Sat and a half day Sunday and Monday is a holiday for the company, but not for my team. Booo.

I have like 38 bugs in jira w/ only a quarter of the site tested and I feel like puking, but on a happy note we have 4 weeks before launch. 4 weeks is waaaay more time for QA than we normally get which is like.. 4 days.

And this is good cause my boss and I only checked the site in FF2, FF3 and chrome. *coughs and looks at the IE6 & IE7 icons on the toolbar* *huge sweatdrop*
Whatever, 4 weeks! 7 days a week! We'll be fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine.

I can't tell you when or what I'm making next in SL. I have like a billion and 3 hair ideas and I want to make some boots. Nothing I want to do is very simple.

I put a lot of work into this one. All the textures are light and shadow "baked" just... I did not use a program to bake them, I just eyeballed it in Photoshop. The city scape was drawn in photoshop.
It has a yard. : D Kinda... With hang out poses.

I made an alt for fun (not so much, what the fuck is the point of SL if you don't build?) And some chick took the time to IM me and call me a noob cause I was at a store buying shit, and when the lucky chair came up with my letter the people were like, it's your letter, I looked to see if of the crowd anyone had the same letter. They didn't so I turned the chair. Did I want the shit from the chair? No. Did I go there to actually purchase items from the store? Yes.

So because the person accidentally said "thank you" when she meant Your welcome and I said no prob, she took the time to IM me after I left to let me know my 6 day old account was a noob and to explain proper lucky chair etiquette. And her 3 year account, that is only in freebie and lucky chair groups, with the exception of the xcite group, is obviously far more learned than I.

Do they give out free vaginas at Xcite? is there a lucky chair for those?


Second thing to note today while the grumpy bullet has hit me:
Linden Labs finally fixed the issue where prim textures would not match the body mesh textures. For over a year many designers have been compensating by adding a 10-20% grey tint to clothing attachments.

So before you go off on your personal blog about how designers fail at life for not making prims match, think of this:
The designers who busted their ass working hard to get their stuff to work with windlight have attachments that look like crap and don't match because the bug was finally fixed.
All the designers who didn't do shit are golden.
So who are you complaining about?
