About Me
Second Life alias: Noam "Danger" Sprocket
Store: Gritty Kitty
Bio: Noam was born in Feb 2006 spontaneously. He spent most of that year being a pain in the ass twat. 2007 proved to be better times, having moved to Koreshan and made some hat everyone and their grandma bought. Then he got really into smack, not the drug but the breakfast cereal, sugar smacks... mmm. Then stuff happened and things where great. Then more stuff happened and it's shitty again. I think cryolife might be karmic retribution for 2006.

Store Policy and Peeves
- If I'm offline, send me a notecard with your name, the item name, the date you bought it and most importantly the transaction # and you will get super speedy service as soon as I accept the note. Failure to do any of that means you have to wait.
- If your notecard starts off by calling me a thief because you paid for something and it was never delivered, please take a second to close your eyes and picture me. Sitting at my desk and pantomiming strangling you. Never do I stroke my Snidley Whiplash mustache and go "HOHO, For I have stolen another 25 cents from someone on the internet! My dastardly deeds know no bounds!" And then cackle madly. The asset server sucks. Just give me the trans # and I will fix it.
- Items that are NO MOD, will forever be no mod. Please try the demos
- I will gladly send gifts of no transfer items if it's not a hugenormous list. There is no additional cost.
- No Refunds or exchanges on NO TRANSFER items. This means hair. Please be sure that you are purchasing the correct style and color before you commit to buying.
- Lying about transactions, using someone else's Trans #s, saying you bought more than you did etc, will result in banning. And if it's funny, I may tell other people about it too. :-D You've been warned.
- I don't do customs, but I do take suggestions. If I get inspired by your suggestion I will send you the item I make for free. Please when suggesting stuff put your avatar name on a notecard with any reference pictures as I have a shitty memory.
- I don't make little kid clothes.
- I do not speak any other language than English. If you do not speak English, then you probably can't understand any of this policy and I look forward to your nonsensical IMs and threats on my life.
- I can only do resizes if I have time. I don't usually. :( Sorry. Honest to blog, if I have free time, I will help you out. If it's an easy issue, I will try to walk you through it.
- Until Linden labs gets rid of the NOTES sections of profiles, I track all correspondences with customers through that. If you were a dick to me 6 months ago for no good reason and you're hoping I forgot by now, hahahahaha. Silly face. I love taking notes.
- I'm not looking for models.
- I don't want to give you $10,000 linden to put on a fashion show.
- I'm not looking for rental spots at the moment. When I am, I am looking for places that: have nice builds, don't have to do with nekos, and have a rental rate closer to L$1 to 1prim.
- If Second Life ever fucks up your PERMS and makes mod objects no mod, I will replace them. If it's trans, send me back the broken parts. If it's no trans, TP to the shop when I'm on and just show me you own it. (Snapshots do not = ownership)
- I do not replace items for people who got their accounts banned. I do not give items to alts either. Just don't get banned. How hard can that be?
- The only people who should be offended by this list are the people who commit these atrocities and therefore deserve to be offended. If you are just a chill costumer who does your thing without rocking my boat, then I love you X a billion.

Good luck with the copybotters - I actually spotted one myself when I was out shopping the other night. She realized I was inspecting her stolen Stiletto Moodys and left, only to come back with one of those stupid anti-inspect shields...but by then I had already sent pictures showing the inspect to SM.
Though I did cam inside her shield to find she had stolen her hair, too. I wish I had recognized it.
There is a detector now that will alert you when people are using a specific kind of copybot proxy.
It's depressing as all fucking hell.
The least I get in a day is one, the most so far I think was like 9 or 10 in a day.
I'm going to start taking down my demos or putting obnoxious textures on them :/
OH! I need this :D
I shall be shoppering laters!
Hi! I have only made / sold a few things in SL, but one thing I did make was a 'copy this, bothole' t shirt. Free to anyone who wants it!
Anyway, where can I get one of those copybot detectors? I would love to help out in the fight against them. I don't normally notice something's copied because I don't pay enough attention. Unless it's something I or a good friend made, I won't likely recognize the creator.
I spend way too much money in SL but I figure it's my way of telling a creator how much I like their stuff. Anyway, I want a detector. Thanks!
Hey Molly,
You can get a viewer for the game called emerald, it will tell you what viewers other people are using. If they are using one called Cryolife, they are copybotters.
Thanks Noam. I am going to play detective. I'm looking for something to break me from my addictions to fishing, to chickens and to shopping in general. Hunting down botholes sounds like fun. =)
Sorry one more thought. Maybe I'll start a group for people like me that love hunts and just like something to do to keep us occupied. (ok this may just be me) But, I'll go out and look for these folks, compile notecards, fwd them to the creators so they can make those complaint things as painlessly as possible. I'm sure if you got 1-9 in a day, and have to research each one... well, I'd rather you be making stuff for me to buy than be busy with that or too ticked off. Hey maybe I could hunt botholes for hire! I'd charge.. well nothing. Hah. I am rambling. Sorry. I'm at work and I'm bored.
The 1-9 a day are people who are in the process of running the proxy and copying people. Banning them requires no research. It's like if you watch someone stab a child in the face, I'm not going to be like "Hrm... I wonder if that child was possessed by a demon." I'm going to be like look a murder.
The DMCAs I file are always based off people sending me links to where my work has been found. They also require no more research than a screen shot with a creation date.
I think there are groups that look for stolen work in SL, but I'm not familiar with any by name. I don't actively seek this out.
BTW, it sucks building shit in SL now, so should you ever feel the urge to become a content creator, I recommend not doing it unless you have a "I don't give a shit" attitude.
Thanks Noam,
I build when I feel like it, but not really with intent to sell. I do spend too much money buying things, and If I weren't so lazy I could probably make most of it (See, as long as I don't try I can tell myself that) But I do think that buying things is a way of telling a creator that their work is appreciated, that their artwork and time is valued. So, though I don't have any personal stake like you as a creator has in this, It still really irritates me.
Even when I have created something just for fun, or just to try something out, when it turns out halfway decent, I'm proud of it. I may give it away left and right but I still have some sort of emotional attachment to it that would just rankle if someone copied and sold it.
Hey. Thanks for chatting with me.
