Music question...
Is the band Xiu Xiu awful or am I just not hip enough to get them?
I'm trying to build up my selection of maybes for when my emusic downloads restock.

Second Life alias: Noam "Danger" Sprocket
Store: Gritty Kitty
Bio: Noam was born in Feb 2006 spontaneously. He spent most of that year being a pain in the ass twat. 2007 proved to be better times, having moved to Koreshan and made some hat everyone and their grandma bought. Then he got really into smack, not the drug but the breakfast cereal, sugar smacks... mmm. Then stuff happened and things where great. Then more stuff happened and it's shitty again. I think cryolife might be karmic retribution for 2006.

Geez,
I don't like em. Does that mean they suck? dunno.
Did you listen? I'm like looking at the reviews on emusic and I'm like.. what the fuck am I not getting here?
I think the best review I saw was for a BJ Snowden style singer, they wrote "I can't humm to this shit. If you can't humm it, it's not worth listening to."
Yeah, The whole "experimantal discordant percussion" thing was never my style. The true test of whether a song rocks is this...
Whilst driving 110mph down a deserted highway, would this song be on the movie soundtrack?
Hrmm That's a good one because it really could be for any type of song.
You could have some sort of hip-hop bouncy fun I'm driving really fast music cause I'm on my way to Cali.
Or like some indie slow, I'm driving really fast cause I just lost my job and fucked up my life music.
Or like some fast metal, I just went on a killing spree and I'm running from the cops music.
I dig that test.
Thank you for totally getting that!
You ever heard of Cold War Kids? I just heard a song called "we used to vacation" that was pretty good.
Yeah, they were talking about them on Opie & Anthony yesterday so I put them on my wishlist.
They sound like Jet.
