ReplyDeleteI work in creative as a Web Developer, which is more coding than design.
My last job was all design and their company branding was the most guady awful crap. I think it's set me back artistically.
It's definitely given me an insight into making hobbies a career. I don't advise it... makes you lose passion for it and nothing is worse than creative blocks when your job depends on it.
ReplyDeleteThankfully I've gotten outta programming... I used to build internal reporting systems with good ole SQL and ASP. Now that ASPX is the new pink... im glad I'm in design again. LOL

ReplyDeleteI honestly don't know any programing language. I learn as I go and assure everyone that yes, I know asp, php, flash, and whatever else they need me to do.
I'm a fast learner, so I haven't run into many problems, but the flash project... I think I have more gray hair now.
