Although it's not credited/mentioned or acknowledged in any way, My Penthouse skybox that I spent a shit ton of hours texturing and drawing the city line for was in ROLE Magazine. Check it out.
If they have a blog or such (and I really believe they do), you might comment on an entry. You might be nice/passive with something like, "OH, hey thanks for showing my skybox on page #!"; or you could be more direct. It's a bit of free advertising that way. :P
I don't see why they couldn't leave a note at the end of the article that it was your skybox. After all, they put the SLurls for the furniture stores, why couldn't you get some credit?
